Shea Butter

Native to Africa, the shea tree grows predominately in West and Central Africa. Because it grows naturally in Africa’s grasslands, it eliminates the need to use any fertilizer or pesticides. Shea butter is derived from the nut of the shea tree. Shea butter is Africa’s golden child.

My grandmother used it daily and was wrinkle free at 85 and had thick, beautiful hair. The scent for me brings about memories of newborn babies who get a daily massage with shea butter.

Shea butter is what is known as a soft butter. It remains in solid form until it comes into contact with the warmth from your hands.
